Marc Hopstaken wins VPK Group Award for Innovation!
Smart Packaging Solutions is proud to announce that Marc Hopstaken, Plant Manager in Meer, has received the VPK Group Award for Innovation. The award was presented during a festive ceremony by Johan De Neef, Managing Director of Smart Packaging Solutions.
In his speech, Johan De Neef emphasised that innovation is crucial to success and that Marc plays a key role in the performance of the plant in Meer. Under his leadership, the plant has realised groundbreaking developments, including the successful production of new solid board packaging such as stackable machine-erected trays, punnets, and other sustainable alternatives to plastic packaging.
“The plant in Meer is by far the finest converting plant in the entire solid board industry and an example for the VPK Group of what operational excellence means,” said Johan De Neef in his speech. “Marc is the architect, the captain of the ship that has made the plant in Meer what it is today.
